Ranbir Kapoor back on the top with his latest release Sanju. A poster.of his upcoming film Shamshera has been revealed. Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on the Ayan Mukherjee’ Brahmstra. In Shamshera Ranbir is playing the role of an army decoit.

The poster has a touching tagline ” Karam se Dacait or Dharam Se Aazaad”. The movie is directed by Agneepath director Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yashraj Films. In a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor Spoke about Shamshera. He said-

I think Shamshera is a movie of big scale and this character will put me out of my comfort zone. Karan has a clear vision of this character who is really inspiring. Shamshera is a kind of character with whom you can play in many different ways at the same time. As an actor, it is very challenging.

Shamshera setup in the 70s in which an army officer turned a Decait. The tagline gives an indication that shamshera is a character like Paan Singh Tomar, Dabangg where characters are corrupted but only for bad people. It will be an out an out commercial film.

The movie’s first poster released recently. Shamshera will go on the floor at the end of this year. The movie will release worldwide on 31 July 2020. It means Ranbir Kapoor will have only one release Brahamstra in 2019 which is a superhero flick starring Ranbir and Alia.
